The apartment is in Grade B Listed Building within the World Heritage Site at the West End of Edinburgh’s New Town. It is convenient to all of the Central District amenities including; Prince's Street, Haymarket and Waverley stations, Edinburgh Conference Centre, Usher Hall, Traverse Theatre, City Museums and Art Galleries, Edinburgh Castle, bars and restaurants, Shopping and the main transport links,and the Financial and Business Districts.
This Top Floor apartment has stunning panoramic views from the Pentland Hills in the South, to beyond the Firth of Forth to Fife in the North. These also include glimpes of the Forth Bridge to the West. Direct access is via a private lift within the main hallway and six steps from street level. Car parking is available on adjacent streets but is metered. Alternatively, there are generally some free parking spaces available within a short walk.

The North Bedroom gets the evening sun. It over looks the historic Dean Village, Water of Leith and across to the Firth of Forth. On a clear day, the Forth Railway Bridge is partially visible, as are some of the higher mountains on the West Coast over 50 miles away.

The Bedroom South is slightly larger and has views over the Edinburgh rooftops, passed the spires of St.Mary's Cathedral to the Pentland Hills. It will get the morning sunlight and has original shutters and blinds.
The accommodation is centrally heated and has double glazing throughout. It is also sound and thermally insulated, thus incorporating modern standards within a traditional environment. The layout of the apartment comprises two good sized double bedrooms (one with walk-in wardrobe), generous lounge with dining area, modern kitchen, a main bathroom and second WC.
Provisions, can be supplied given sufficient advance notice. Otherwise fresh milk, tea and coffee, sugar and sweetmeat biscuits will be available for your arrival. There are supplies of bed linen, towels, duvets, plates, cooking utensils, glasses, pans and cutlery for 6 people. The Kitchen is modern and fully equipped. A selection of books, DVDs and CDs are also available, as are some small musical instruments, board games, maps and current tourist information. Cable TV is provided in the Lounge and a small TV in each bedroom.
